1939 Market Street is an 100% affordable housing project for seniors. Located on the edge of the Castro, residents will be primarily from the neighborhood’s existing LGBTQ+ community and reserve units for seniors who have experienced homelessness. This project will provide 187 homes with the goal of fostering a sense of community and well-being through supportive housing, enhancing the pedestrian life of Market Street.
